Catch Me If You Can

Catch Me if You Can follows a young Frank Abagnale Jr as he struggles though his teenage angst. When Frank Abagnale Jr. discovers that his parents are having trouble with their marriage he does what any sensible person would do, run away and steal millions of dollars from the government. I found this plot hard to believe and struggled through the show on December 11th at the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis.

I thought that Catch Me if You Can was a bit excessive. The show was two and a half… Continue

The Best Quartette That No One Ever Heard

A case can be made, that on December 4th, 1956 the first super group was created. Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash were the million dollar quartette. I was transported back in time to the age of rock 'n' roll on Tuesday, March 27th as I watched Million Dollar Quartette at the State Theater in Minneapolis.

The story of Million Dollar Quartette all takes place in one night, December 4th, 1956. Sam Phillips, the owner of Sun Records, had just singed his… Continue
