The King and I

The comedy throughout The King and I was brought to life and never got old.  Jose Llana, in his role as the King of Siam, made me laugh again and again.  The Royal Children also brought out this comedy greatly.  They were absolutely adorable and hilarious.

This incredible story, based on the novel “Anna and the King of Siam”, by Margaret Landon, was beautifully told.  The dynamic relationships of all of the characters are the starting aspects of the production.  Namely between…

Mamma Mia

                This fast paced, complicated show kept you on your toes but was readily understandable and easy to follow.  The new and old relationships of all the characters are evident in all of their interactions and subtle implications.  I usually don’t remember the character’s names long after a show, but not so with ‘Mamma Mia!’

                The entire ensemble was skillful and very entertaining.  The coordination that all of the actors shared…


The Bodyguard

I love musicals!  The singing and dancing in this show were brilliant.  Most of its’ approximately two and a half hours was made up of musical numbers.  It was great!  The two Marron sisters, Fletcher, and the fabulous ensemble had incredible voices.  Even poor little Frank got to sing.  The power and heart behind Deborah Cox – playing Rachel Marron - and Jasmin Richardson’s - playing Nicki Marron – singing was inspiring.  They earned my enthusiastic applause.
